About Munnar

Munnar, the "Kashmir of South India," is a breathtaking hill station located at an altitude of 1,600 meters in the Western Ghats. Once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India, Munnar is today famous for its sprawling tea estates, colonial bungalows, and diverse flora and fauna. The confluence of three mountain streams—Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala—gives the town its name. It offers a cool, misty climate year-round, making it a favorite for honeymooners and nature enthusiasts alike.
