Welcome to Kerala Online Taxi. By accessing our website (keralataxi.online) or using our taxi services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Services Provided

Kerala Online Taxi provides the following services across Kerala:

• Airport pick-up and drop-off transfers
• Inter-city and outstation taxi rides
• Local sightseeing and day-trip packages
• Hill station tours (Munnar, Wayanad, Thekkady)
• Corporate and group travel arrangements

All services are subject to vehicle and driver availability at the time of booking.

2. Booking & Confirmation

• Bookings can be made via our website form, phone call, or WhatsApp message.
• A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation call or message from our team.
• Please provide accurate pickup location, destination, date, time, and contact details at the time of booking.
• We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion.

3. Fares & Payments

• All fares quoted are inclusive of the driver and fuel costs unless otherwise stated.
• Toll charges, parking fees, and state permit charges (if applicable) are to be borne by the passenger.
• Fares displayed on our website are estimates and may vary based on distance, waiting time, or route changes requested by the passenger.
• Payment can be made in cash to the driver upon trip completion, unless an advance is agreed upon for outstation bookings.
• Night charges may apply for trips commencing or ending between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM.

4. Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation is available if notified at least 6 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
• Cancellations within 6 hours of pickup may attract a nominal cancellation fee to cover driver preparation costs.
• No-shows (passenger not present at pickup location) will be treated as a confirmed trip and may be charged accordingly.
• In case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, a full refund or rescheduling will be arranged.

5. Passenger Conduct

• Passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards the driver and other passengers.
• Smoking, alcohol consumption, and use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
• Animals/pets must be declared at the time of booking. Carriage of pets is subject to driver approval.
• Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. Kerala Online Taxi is not liable for loss of luggage or valuables left in the vehicle.
• The driver reserves the right to refuse or terminate a trip if passenger conduct is unsafe or threatening.

6. Liability & Disclaimer

• Kerala Online Taxi shall not be held liable for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control.
• We do not guarantee exact arrival or departure times, though we strive to maintain punctuality at all times.
• In the event of a vehicle breakdown, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative vehicle at the earliest opportunity.
• Our liability in any claim is limited to the fare paid for the affected trip.

7. Vehicle & Driver

• All vehicles are maintained to roadworthy standards and comply with Kerala Motor Vehicle Act requirements.
• All drivers hold valid commercial driving licences and relevant permits.
• We reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or better category if the booked vehicle is unavailable.

8. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kochi, Kerala.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
